Credit Card Processing: Card-present and Card-not-present

Sunday, October 9th, 2011

There are different media used to acquire the items we want. There are those who trade other items, pay money and of course, use cards. One of the most used cards is the credit card. This allows you to purchase any item now and technically pay later to the bank especially when you don’t have money at the moment. There are two ways of credit card processing, card-present and card-not-present. Card-present is the most typical way of processing. It is done in stores where you swipe your card and go on with the transaction. This offers less risk and interchange fees. Meanwhile, card-not-present is paying without swiping your cards. You just have to provide your number. This is usually done online which makes your life easier when buying goods that are sold over the internet. With these two processes, credit cards are proven to be really beneficial to its owners especially when money is not available immediately.

Saturday, September 17th, 2011

Web based point of sale software is perfect for those that have a small business, and can’t afford the luxury of an electronic cash register. To find the perfect software, there are some steps that you need to take, in order to get the perfect results. For instance, you should also go to a verified seller. To check if a seller is verified, you can always go the sellers website, and do a little poking around yourself, or you and contact verifiers and ask about the site. The second thing you need to do is plan a budget. Some point of sale systems can cost thousands of dollars, depending on the type of system you need, you should always have a budget planned. The last thing you need to do, is get an in store trial, what if you pay for it, and the software is horrible. With a trial, you can return it, and try something else.

No More Arguments by Financing a Laptop

Wednesday, August 31st, 2011

I am very tired of my oldest son always using our home computer. I purchased our computer for the whole family to enjoy yet it seems to be causing most of our arguments. Well his birthday is coming up soon and I was clueless about what to give him as a gift. One day as I was Having breakfast with my husband my children started arguing about who’s turn it was to use the computer and my husband suggested that we should get him a computer on payments as a birthday gift. I began searching on line and found a site that guaranteed computer credit with a low interest rate. I filled out the online application and not long after that I received my sons laptop. I am glad that this type of service was available because I could not take any more arguing from my family. Well at least not about the computer.

Top Three Reasons Why I Trust Pep Boys Auto

Thursday, August 25th, 2011

I bought my first car three years ago. And I must say, it has never been that easy to maintain. One more thing that made it difficult for me was finding a reliable auto shop that can do a great job. Lets face it! There are lots of shops nowadays that offer several auto services but not all of it can be really trusted. It was a good thing that someone told me about Pep Boys Auto. Being a loyal client for few years now, there are three main reasons why I actually like them. First off, their technicians are all competent. I’ve never doubted their skills and so far, I’ve never been disappointed with them. Second thing, theyve got cheaper rates compared to others. Its true! I was actually shocked when I saw their prices. Third, theyve got a remarkable reputation. Imagine! Theyve been in this industry for 90 years already. I completely rely on them when it comes to auto services. So if I were you, check out the Pep Boys company as well!

Security Seals and Good Deals Part 10

Saturday, July 2nd, 2011

My day started off great the other day as the first call that came in was when a person was ordering 5,000 container seals and even after fixing his price I still had good profit and I hope that he keeps on buying from me. He is a hard guy to get hold of and he called so early that I was not ready for him and I ended up having to email his order confirmation and then he never replied so I had to call him before the end of the shift so that he knew that I had put his order in and lowered his price which is what I really wanted to make sure got done as he is buying so many security seals from me that a competitor would be really happy to get him away from me. I have learned that if they contact you for a better price it is already too late to get that price fixed and it will be hard to get that customer back if they decide to more to the other supplier.

Watch Out For Auction Feedback On Scales

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

I sure wish that I had found this floor scales buying guide before I bought mine on an auction site. It was so convincing. The feedback rating was great. The warranty listed was fantastic. I had no idea the scale would arrive and quit working after seven months. Then, in order to get any warranty support I had to schedule a service call with my local scale company. By the time I paid for the service call, I could have bought another scale. They never mentioned that in the auction listing.

Another issue I have with buying a floor scale on an auction site is that they don’t tell you certain things. I got the scale in my warehouse, took out my measuring tape and came to find out I didn’t get the 48 inch by 48 inch scale I thought I had bought. My measurements showed about 46 inches. Not a big deal but it kind of puts the product into perspective.
